Malcolm Dalglish is a hammered dulcimer player and builder who also plays the spoons and bones, while Grey Larsen is a flutist who is also a master of fiddle, anglo concertina, piano, and harmonium. The duo recorded three albums, of which “The First of Album” was the second to be released on June Appal Recordings, before inviting Pete Sutherland to join them in forming the Celtic trio Metamora. Their music encompasses the traditions of Appalachia, Ireland and Scandanavia.
“Transcendent. The first track on the album — Paddy Concannon's Reel/The Wise Maid — is just wonderful … Do pick this up. It is truly wonderful.” - Robert Edgar
