Buzzard Rock String Band

“I’ve Got the Blues For My Old Kentucky Home” was The Buzzard Rock String Band’s debut album with a line-up of six musicians who have since swapped parts and membership more than once. The Buzzard Rock String Band has performed on the Mountain Stage, at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, at the Lonesome Pine Special Concert Series and around the country. Their debut album includes a small treasure of neglected musical gems taken from rare cylinder recordings, ’78 records, and oral tradition for a unique album that captures the essence at the time of their formation in the 1980s.
