Dusty Miller

The five musicians who made up Dusty Miller played together in a variety of combinations — Rebel Record’s Lonesome River Band, Kingsport’s Boys in the Band, East Tennessee State University Bluegrass Band — before they formed Dusty Miller in the late 1980s. With three of them going on to form Alison Krauss and Union Station, the members of Dusty Miller have had long and impressive careers even since recording this debut album, which features a cohesive bluegrass sound with real chemistry.
