Join us at West Sixth to support the Appalshop Archive!

We are very excited to invite the Appalshop community to our partner fundraising event with West Sixth Brewing March 4th and 5th!

Next week, join us in Lexington and Louisville at West Sixth Brewing in support of the Appalshop Archive and our ongoing campaign to raise funds for much-needed improvements to our archival facilities.

Appalshop staff will be at the Lexington location from 4-8PM on Friday March 4th and at the Louisville location from 12-4PM on Saturday March 5th, but 6% of all sales on both days will go towards the campaign. Additionally, throughout the whole month of March Appalshop will be the recipients of their Wooden Nickel program, more information about that program here.

All proceeds raised will be matched 3:1 by the National Endowment for the Humanities toward an Infrastructure & Capacity Building Challenge grant supporting Appalshop Archive's efforts to make critical upgrades to its archival storage and preservation facilities to help ensure that the voices, images, and stories in Appalshop's collections are available to current and future generations.
