Appalachian Flood Support Resources

On July 28th, Appalachian Eastern Kentucky, Southwestern Virginia, and surrounding areas experienced historic flooding levels. We'll be collecting verifiable donation fund and resource information and posting it here.

UPDATE: We have had an immense outpouring of support and response over the past several days and have raised thousands in direct, immediate aid to folks affected by the storms. Read our full statement of thanks and gratitude here.

APPALSHOP VOLUNTEERS: If you would like to sign-up to be a volunteers in the coming weeks and months of clean-up, please fill out the form here or go to appalshop.org/volunteer

AVOID FEMA FRAUD: If a FEMA inspector comes to your house and you didn't submit a FEMA application, you may be a scam victim. Inspectors never collect payment for disaster assistance. To report fraud, call the FEMA hotline at 800-621-3362.

The situation is developing, so please check back frequently and follow local news and the National Weather Service for emergency weather information.
