All Access EKY to offer free birth control pills

The All Access EKY team is excited to announce that we will soon be able to offer a six-month supply of Opill, the new FDA approved over-the-counter birth control pill, to Eastern Kentucky residents for free!

For the past four years, we have mailed out free condoms, Plan B, and pregnancy tests to those who fill out requests using our Mailing Service Form. We are grateful to be able to offer these services to folks in the region who might not otherwise have access due to lack of transportation, financial barriers, stigma, etc.

If you or anyone you know is interested in receiving a free six-month supply of Opill, please visit our Mailing Service Form, scroll down to the question "Would you like to be notified when Opill is in stock?," and select YES. While you're there, feel free to submit an order for Plan B, condoms, and pregnancy tests!

For more information on Opill, visit https://opill.com/pages/about-opill.

Thank you to the National Endowment for the Humanities!

Recently we learned that our Archive’s Salvaging Appalachian Photo Collections project was funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH)! All of us here at Appalshop are so grateful for the support of the NEH as we restore and digitize photographs damaged in the 2022 flood. Learn more through the NEH press release

Created in 1965 as an independent federal agency, the NEH supports research and learning in history, literature, philosophy, and other areas of the humanities by funding selected, peer-reviewed proposals from around the nation.
