Jim Miller

Jim Miller has been building and playing the hammered dulcimer for almost 50 years. Performing and winning awards with Celtic, bluegrass, swing, blues and old-time bands, “Hills and Hollers” is one of Miller’s only solo releases. Today he teaches at Eastern Tennessee State University’s respected Bluegrass, Old Time, and Country Music program — he plays mandolin, banjo, autoharp, bass, percussion, ukele, and guitar in addition to the dulcimer he gained noteriety for hand-crafting — teaching students only a little younger than he was when he reelased “Hills and Hollers.”
