Bring your photos to Community Photo Preservation Day on Saturday, November 14th from 10am-3pm at Appalshop's WMMT studio space at 253 Main St. in Whitesburg.
Old or new, in good shape or muddy or moldy from the flood, learn how to preserve your photographs and get advice on protecting them, plus learn tips on digitization and get some of your photos scanned!
Appalshop Archive staff will be on hand to help, as well as renowned Appalachian documentary photographer and photojournalist Malcolm J. Wilson, and archivist and historian Sarah Insalaco.
For more info, reach out to our archive team at archive@appalshop.org, or see the Facebook event.
