It is such a great event to express your feelings concerning surface mining/mountain top removal. I so much enjoyed hearing Ada and Cody give their talks as well as all the others that had such good things to say in support of stopping MTR. I had the pleasure of riding the big bus that stopped at Whitesburg to pick up so many of my frieds and fellow coal miners. It was a great trip. Thanks to the more than 1200 or 1300 folks that attended from all over Kentucky and surrounding states. Thanks to the many groups that participated in the "Pin Wheel" construction. The Capitol grounds looked great after it had been "Pin Wheeled." I just hope and pray the people inside got the message. Hope we can also continue our weekly sit in's to get our message out to everyone inside the capitol as well. Hope you can attend during the week or next year on I Love Mountains Day.
