Hello, I'm from Painstville, Ky. I have searched all over the net, to find a song to sing in church, but don't know all the lyrics. I've heard it on this station once before, and I thought it wouldn't hurt to try to post in this forum. If that's not what this forum is for, please forgive me. If anyone could help me though I would greatly appreciate it. The name of the song is, "Jesus this is Jimmy." I play guitar, and would like the chords/lyrics, or a link to something. I have a headache trying to find it. Thanks in advace!

The song; Jesus, this is Jimmy.... came from the late 1970's. The song was very popular during the time the "Trucker Songs" were popular. It was about a small boy named Jimmy that was praying one day to Jesus. "Jesus, this is Jimmy...Jesus,this is Jimmy...were the only words he knew how to pray..." This simple one line prayer he repeated over and over, the Lord Jesus heard the little boys prayer and answered Jimmy...I can not remember who sang nor recorded the song, but I think it was a popular country singer at the time.
