By Janney Lockman - July 8, 2010 WMMT's Mountain News and World Report is making its debut this Sunday at 10:30 AM with History Alive, a radio program that explores the history of Southeast Kentucky through interviews with local residents, and by researching historic documents photographs and buildings in our communities. Theresa Osborne for Southeast Community College Appalachian Program, and Phyllis Sizemore from the Kentucky Coal Museum, are the creators and hosts of History Alive. Teresa and Phyllis came into the WMMT studio on Thursday to tell us more about their show. They started the History Alice program because the felt a need to document history in Harlan County.
