  • Length: 26:47 minutes (24.53 MB)
  • Format: Stereo 44kHz 128Kbps (CBR)

You heard right - today on Radio-Gram we’re talking trash. Trash by the side of the road, trash in the water, trash in peoples tiny little minds and just plain trash talkin’ - that trash and more - after the Regional Roundup -

Clean water is vital to the health of any community, here in Letcher County where three rivers begin - the water is - well kind of trashed. The Head of Three Rivers project is working to reverse that trend.

You're listening to Radio-Gram on WMMT - on today’s show - trash. Here’s what some younger kids had to say about trash.

People talking trash about each other is pretty common - we hate it when they do it to us - but must be mindful of when we do it to them. But sometimes you just can’t help yourself!

That’s just about all the trash we could collect in this Radio-Gram - but we’ll be back next week with another Radio-Gram, and in the meantime you can listen to this and many other great programs from WMMT on our website -wmmtfm.org. I’m Mia Frederick and I had help producing this weeks show from Sylvia Ryerson, Ellis Keyes, and the staff of WMMT. Until we meet again - remember to pick it up not throw it down, and for heavens sake - smokers - find ya' an ashtray! And always keep the radio on tuned to WMMT FM -mountain public community radio, it’s clean and litter free.
