Recently preserved by the Appalshop Archive, this CD reissue of June Appal Recording JA009 from 1978 highlights Buell Kazee's classically trained voice with his own version of the traditional frailed banjo. Material includes a wide range of mountain styles from white blues and railroad songs to instrumentals and a capella hymns. CD bonus tracks, and booklet with lyrics and notes included.
