Seedtime 2011 is now accepting applications for crafts and food vendors!
Appalshop will be hosting our 25th annual Seedtime on the Cumberland festival June 9-11. Join us as we gather to celebrate the art and culture of our mountain communities. Visual arts, crafts, and musical instruments have always been an important part of Seedtime and we are pleased to invite crafters and artisans who share our appreciation of these values to apply for space.
Our fee structure will be:
Saturday Only: $45.00
Friday and Saturday: $60.00
As in years past, we are pleased to invite those who demonstrate their craft to participate at no cost (up to ten demonstrators this year). Each vendor will be allotted 100 square feet (10’ x 10’), so please bear in mind that vendors needing additional space should multiply their rate by the number of spaces you wish to reserve. Electricity and some tent space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so please let us know if you need either. This year we would like to ask vendors to provide their own tent if at all possible. Please specify if you need a tent provided. All fees are due on or before May 15, 2011.
Vendors are welcome to sell any and all homemade crafts, but please be aware that we do not accept ‘yard sale’ or ‘flea market’ items at Seedtime.
Vendors may set up during the following times:
- Thursday, June 9, 2011 after 6 p.m.
- Friday, June 10, 2011 before 11am
- Saturday, June 11, 2011 before 9 a.m.
On Thursday & Friday night, there will be overnight security on the premises.
