By Sylvia Ryerson - March 26, 2010 This Monday and Tuesday evening, March 29th and 30th, women from all over the region will be coming together in Whitesburg to perform the Vagina Monologues, a performance dedicated to ending violence against women and celebrating the experience of being female and transgender.  The play was first written and performed by Even Ensler in the mid-1990s, and has since grown into a national and global movement using theater to support women's struggles throughout the world.
