In 2000 Appalshop purchased the Boone Motor building, on adjacent property to the main Appalshop Center. This page is designed to keep folks updated as we work on the building.

March, 29th 2007

Ancil Trivette, WMMT's Country Gentlemen, finished power washing the paint from the building's exterior last week! Looks great and now we're moving forward with the storefront restoratation and electrical re-wiring. Check back soon for more updates.

Our Architect, Jane Mathews of Ashville, NC is working on plans to renovate the store front. The curve on the building's right side was originally glass, and we will be taking the brick out and restoring to it's original state.
